AT&T Raises The Stakes in Mobile Data Pricing

I eagerly await Verizon’s response to this change of data plans by AT&T. As these new “curbing” plans go into place on AT&T and customers bills go through the roof, you will see an emergence of throttling applications become more visible. I am a big fan of MobileIron http://www.mobileiron.com who has a great tool set for proactive data management on iphones. I could see these folks at MobileIron, cheering this decision as another reason for device management and control applications to begin moving outward.
